Guide to local climate and energy plans for Basque municipalities

Last March, a workshop was held to present and validate the draft of the Guide to Local Climate and Energy Plans for Basque municipalities. The workshop, in which more than 20 local councils and county entities took part, was organised by IHOBE and EVE, and was facilitated by ADOS and INERGY.

This session served to validate the draft text and to compile and integrate contributions, as well as to provide a meeting place for municipalities and regional entities to share experiences, difficulties detected and different ways of approaching the processes of drawing up climate and energy plans.

The Guide is part of the LIFE Urban Klima 2050 project and has been prepared with the aim of providing municipalities and counties with a clear and concise methodological framework, highlighting the resources and tools available, according to the current and future regulatory framework. It is expected to be published soon on www.udalsarea2030.eus and urbanklima2050.eu/es.
