WHAT IT IS

Kit Digital is an initiative of the Spanish Government, which aims to subsidise the implementation of digital solutions available on the market in order to achieve a significant advance in the level of digital maturity.

The Digital Kit is an aid programme launched by the government in mid-2021 to support the digitalisation process of the self-employed and small businesses. These subsidies are provided for in the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan and have a total budget of 3,067 million euros.

The Digital Kit Programme, financed by the well-known EU Funds, allows the self-employed to access a grant of between 2,000 and 12,000 euros, depending on the size of their business, to invest in a digital tool.

OBJECTIVE

The main objective of the Digital Kit Programme is to provide smaller businesses with the digital tools that are increasingly necessary to compete in today’s market.

The Digital Kit has a dual purpose: on the one hand, to help self-employed and SME beneficiaries to take the step towards digital transformation, but also to direct the funds to other small businesses, the digitalising agents, who will be the ones who will be charged for installing these services.
