Workshop to identify good practices in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda Navarra

The 2030 Agenda Navarra is a benchmark at the regional level and proof of this is the progress made to ensure its implementation through the creation of an Interdepartmental Commission and the commitment to align all sectoral policies with the Sustainable Development Goals. Furthermore, the Government of Navarra is firmly committed to monitoring the Navarra 2030 Agenda.

In this context, on 20 October we had the privilege of facilitating a Workshop organised by Nasuvinsa, with the aim of identifying Good Practices in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Navarra, which will be presented in the 2nd Monitoring Report.

The workshop was presented by the Director General of Social Protection and Development Cooperation of the Government of Navarra, Andrés J. Carbonero Martínez, who is also Coordinator of the Executive Committee of the Interdepartmental Commission of the 2030 Agenda.

The presence of 20 people from various departments was decisive in analysing, selecting and prioritising the Best Practices previously identified. As a result of their participation, 35 Best Practices were identified, of which 17 were considered a priority when it came to giving them greater visibility in the 2nd Monitoring Report.

With the aim of finding a balance of Good Practices by typology and by SDG, and in order to encourage the debate in a transversal key, 4 working groups were created, structured in coherence with the pre-identified Good Practices, the SDGs to which each one was associated and the 5Ps (PEOPLE, PROSPERITY, PLANET, PEACE AND PARTNERSHIP) of the 2030 Agenda. This structuring of the working groups ensured a cross-cutting approach and an overall vision that allowed for an almost immediate consensus on the Good Practices to be recognised in each SDG.
