TRAINING ON 2030 AGENDA AND SDG-s TO VITORIA-GASTEIZ CITY COUNCIL STAFF

From March to June 2021, we are carrying out training and awareness-raising sessions for around 400 people from all departments of the Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council.

The aim of the sessions is to train and raise awareness among municipal staff about the context of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals, to know what issues are addressed from the local level in each of the SDGs and to reflect on how they contribute to the Goals in their day-to-day work.

The highly participatory sessions are offering numerous reflections that reinforce the cross-cutting nature of the 2030 Agenda and the capacity of local governments, in this case, the Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council, to “localise” these goals and bring them closer to citizens.

The ultimate goal of this training process is “learning by doing and putting into practice“.
