In March, a workshop was held to present and validate the draft of the Guide for Local Climate and Energy Plans for Basque municipalities. More than 20 local councils and regional entities participated in the workshop, that was organised by IHOBE and EVE, and facilitated by ADOS and INERGY.
This session served for validation of the draft text of the Guide and to compile and integrate several contributions. Furthermore, it provided a space for municipalities and regional entities to share experiences, difficulties, and different ways of approaching the processes of developing climate and energy plans.
The Guide is part of the LIFE Urban Klima 2050 project and has been developed with the aim of providing municipalities and counties with a clear and concise methodological framework about climate and energy plans, by presenting the resources and tools available, according to the current and future regulatory framework.
